HOW DID I GET CANCER?

AFTER SOMEONE HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER, these are the standard therapies usually discussed:

Once a cancer is discovered, the usual approach of mainstream oncologists involves one or more of three strategies:

1. Surgically removing the tumor

2. Giving chemotherapeutic drugs that are designed to target any cancerous cells that remain

3. Giving targeted radiation therapy in the area that was affected by cancer in hopes of catching any cancer cells that have escaped the scalpel or the drugs. Many cancer patients also receive high doses of steroid drugs such as prednisone for the control of edema (fluid buildup) and inflammation. While controlling the inflammatory reaction, this can lead to devastating side effects as well.

Most of the effort behind the war on cancer has focused on these three treatment modalities, in addition to instruments for early detection, such as mammograms, Pap smears, and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing. Cancer therapies have come a very long way since their earliest days. Never before have cancer treatments been so able to precisely target cancerous growths and spare healthy cells. The efforts of the cancer research community have not been for naught.

Still, chemotherapeutic drugs are highly toxic. They are designed to target rapidly dividing cells, and so often the cells of the body that divide the quick- est—including those at the roots of hair and teeth, in bone marrow, and in the lining of the gastrointestinal tract—may also be attacked. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of immune function, hair loss, and tooth loss are frequent side effects. In addition to extreme fatigue and anemia resulting from the harsh chemical destruction of the cells, the patient’s immunity suffers and the cancer patient can now be vulnerable to life-threatening infections.

Surgeries are often necessary to remove tumors, but cancer cells can be left behind, where they multiply and form a new tumor. Radiation therapy is used to try to “clean up” any remaining cancerous cells following surgery, or may be used when tumors cannot be dealt with surgically. Unfortunately, radiation is a potent carcinogen itself and can cause painful skin burns in cancer patients.

Etc., etc., etc.

In this age with all the technologies available, modern science still hasn’t been able to find THE CURE!! This is what this blog is all about. We believe there are alternatives. Testimonials and the experience of thousands of people all over the world, do indicate that there are alternatives to healing from this dreaded disease.

We would like to hear your stories, opinions, education and research into alternative, and natural ways that have been found to address this thing called cancer. Please join us and share your discoveries.

Getting more sleep is the easiest way to reduce your cancer risk

I’m not the kind of guy you have to lecture about getting more sleep. I LIKE to sleep and I’ve ALWAYS been an eight-hours-a-night guy — sometimes accompanied by gales of laughter from friends and family who think it’s weird to be in bed by ten.
But it seems I’m in the minority. Skimping on sleep has become the American norm. And just as all the goody-goodies warned them, Americans pay a terrible price in their health, including a greater danger of cancer. By some estimates, sleep deprivation is the #1 health problem in America
Eating yourself to death — that I can understand. Prime rib and Black Forest cake might be worth dying for. The pleasure is undeniable. But wrecking your health because you never get enough sleep? To me, that’s weird!
The 24/7 electrified, wired world
The wonders of our electrified world have stolen a decent night’s sleep from us. Before electricity, most people went to bed when darkness fell. During the winter, that was early, and people slept a lot. Candles and lamp oil were expensive in a world where the average family made a few hundred dollars a year (if they were lucky). So the sensible thing to do was go to bed.
Then came the electric light bulb.
But it really took television to turn us into addicts to excitement and stimulation. It’s safe to say that, pre-television, everyone got plenty of sleep. Once the tube was ensconced in every home like an altar, millions stayed up to watch the Tonight show and assorted other late-night distractions. And these days, sleep also loses out to the Internet, e-mail, and who knows what else.
Me, I wouldn’t give up an hour’s sleep to watch Leno (or Johnny Carson, back in the Stone Age). But, as I said, I’m in the minority.
How sleep-deprived are YOU?
Take this simple five-point test… suggested by James Maas, PhD, pioneer in the field of sleep research, sought-after speaker, and author of the New York Times Best Seller book, Power Sleep:
1. Do you need an alarm clock to wake up in the morning?
2. Do you hit the snooze button several times before finally dragging yourself out of bed?
3. Do you sleep in on weekends?
4. Do you fall asleep the minute your head hits the pillow?
5. Do you crave a nap to get through the day?
Did you answer ‘yes’ to any of these?
If so, consider yourself sleep-deprived.

Food and drink containers are made with known carcinogens

During the past twenty years, scientists have detected BPA in breast milk, serum, saliva, urine, amniotic fluid, and cord blood from at least 2,200 people in Europe, North America, and Asia.2

Center for Disease Control researchers found BPA in 95% of 400 U.S. adults it tested.3

It’s so common in products and industrial waste that it pollutes not just people… but also rivers, estuaries, sediment, house dust and even air.

Environmental Working Group tested 97 food cans for BPA — name-brand fruit, veggies, and soda. They found that chicken soup, infant formula, and ravioli had the most frightening BPA levels. Just 1-3 servings at these concentrations could expose a woman or child to BPA at levels that caused serious adverse effects in animal studies.4

Since it’s practically everywhere — and IN everyone — wouldn’t you agree it’s important to understand what it might do to your health?

Is BPA an innocent chemical or a carcinogenic nightmare waiting for a place to happen? It all depends on whose studies you believe. Here’s what I’ve been able to find. . .
What is BPA, Anyway?

BPA is a precursor chemical for polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins. It is not an additive, and there is no reason or purpose for it to be added to plastics.

As a polycarbonate, it’s used in ’sports’ bottles, dental sealants, cell phones, computers and other electronic equipment, eyeglasses, medical devices, CDs and DVDs, and more. It is also in infant-formula cans and many clear plastic baby bottles.

Epoxy resins are used as protective liners in metal cans … as well as in printed circuit boards, composites, paints, adhesives, and other protective coatings.

BPA was developed in 1891 as a synthetic estrogen. That should set off your alarm bells right away, if you know much about carcinongens (substances that cause cancer).

BPA’s Potential Link to Cancer

Numerous studies suggest BPA is linked to cancer, either directly or indirectly. Here’s a quick sampling of published research. The CEHRER (Center for Evaluation of Risks to Human Reproduction) had 465 studies on record from 1993 and 2006, so I had lots to choose from…

BPA caused persistent changes to breast tissue. Breast cells became predisposed to cancer, hormonal changes.
Prostate cells became more sensitive to hormones and cancer
Exposure led to an error in cell division, causing cancer, among other issues.
Low doses spurred formation and growth of fat cells, linked to obesity, which is a risk factor for cancer.

Understanding What A Cancer Diet Is

With regard to a cancer treatment, every food that we eat or drink can be categorized into several different categories:

  • 1) Foods that feed and strengthen the cancer cells and/or the microbes in the cancer cells and body. Examples would be: refined sugar, refined flour, soda pop, dairy products, etc.
  • 2) Foods that cause cancer (e.g. trans fatty acids [margarine, french fries and virtually every other processed food you buy], aspartame [Diet Coke, NutraSweet, Equal, etc.], MSG, polyunsaturated oils [e.g. corn oil], etc.)
  • 3) Foods that directly interfere with alternative treatments for cancer (e.g. chlorine, fluoride, alcohol, coffee, etc.)
  • 4) Foods that occupy and distract the immunity system from focusing on killing the cancer cells (e.g. beef, turkey, etc.)
  • 5) Foods that contain nutrients that kill the cancer cells, stop the spread of cancer, or in some other way help treat the cancer (e.g. purple grapes with seeds and skin, red raspberries with seeds, strawberries with seeds, broccoli, cauliflower, several herbs, carrots, pineapples, almonds, etc.)

In addition there are things like cooking vegetables. The cooking destroys the enzymes in the vegetables and make them far less digestible and far less effective in treating cancer. Pasteurizing any food or drink also does this.

Ideally, during a cancer treatment, if foods are allowed on a particular diet, 100% of everything you eat should be in the category of “Foods that contain nutrients that kill the cancer cells, stop the spread of cancer, or in some other way help treat the cancer.” Whenever you eat a food that is not in that category, you are interfering with your cancer treatment! This is why so many cancer diets are very high in certain raw vegetables and certain raw fruits.

So keep in mind ”Change your diet, Changed your life”

Is this is true?

Zero change in 100 years with conventional treatments, What’s up with that anyway. Where does the research money for cancer go.
A a term Linus Pauling coined. Molecular medicine is the use of substances that are
common and essential to the body in various dosages to facilitate health and to treat
disease. This includes Vitamin C, water, oxygen, hyperbaric oxygen, folic acid,
magnesium, and the whole array of what we know as nutritional supplements.
Instead of Alternative medicine it should be Molecular medicine.
In conventional medicine, you rarely if ever see anybody get well because they’re
always changing drugs. They always have something that they “require” to have a
prescription drug treatment for. People who are taking prescription drugs are by
definition not well. That doesn’t mean that everyone not taking a prescription drug is
well, but if you’re on a prescription drug, you’re not well. You could be better, but you’re
not well. But when you use natural, molecular substances, your chances of creating
wellness are good. Poly-MVA will supplement your diet even if you don’t have cancer or on chemotherapy/radiation.

The Biggest LIES About Cancer That Could Kill You!

Fighting cancer in America is a $200 billion-a-year business, so you’d think we would have made progress in saving lives.

But the shocking truth is nearly 570,000 Americans died from cancer in 2008… and there is no end in sight.

Why? Because up to 98 percent of conventional cancer treatments FAIL!

Worse, the Medical Establishment is lying through its teeth to suppress scores of safe, natural, inexpensive cancer remedies and cures that work like magic.

Enough is enough! You deserve to know the truth about cancer.. Just got this book if you would like a copy let me know.

A Soothing Massage Can Speed Cancer Recovery

Anybody who has had a good massage can tell you it feels great, but could a massage actually be used as part of a treatment arsenal against a potent enemy like cancer?
It’s almost hard to picture if your idea of a massage involves velvety music, candles, and the relaxing scent of lavender.
Yet, it’s actually this form of treatment — one that goes back to ancient times — that’s showing promise as part of a cancer-recovery regime.
It makes sense that massage therapy can offer something to cancer patients. After all, it has certainly stood the test of time, dating back over 3,000 years. Even Hippocrates talked about its restorative qualities. Nowadays, you can find all kinds of variations, from Chinese-derived acupressure to Japanese shiatsu, along with Swedish, deep-tissue, and trigger-point massage.
Whatever your style, all types of massage are known to help the return of venous blood to the heart. (Arteries take fresh, oxygen-rich blood away from the heart and into the tissues. The veins return the “used” blood to the heart to be re-oxygenated.)
Massage also frees endorphins (our body’s pain-killing chemicals), stimulates lymph movement, and stretches tissue throughout the body.
There’s more to massage than we think
Along with feeling pretty good, massage therapy offers profound benefit to both your hormonal and immunologic systems. It also stimulates your lymphatics to get rid of toxins found in your body.
Cancer patients who undergo massage tend to report relief from the five most common symptoms of cancer and cancer treatment: pain, nausea, fatigue, depression, and anxiety. If it’s true that stress contributes to cancer, massage should be a great treatment.
In fact, quite a bit of research is coming out to support the decline in anxiety due to massage. A 2005 study in the International Journal of Neuroscience proved that when women diagnosed with breast cancer received three 30-minute massages a week for five weeks, they ended up less depressed, less angry, and with more energy than the control group. More importantly, dopamine levels, natural killer cells, and lymphocytes reportedly increased for the massage therapy group.
Anybody battling a serious disease is likely to benefit from the power of touch. Most patients have to deal with all kinds of pain, from medical procedures to exams to treatment. Massage therapy is sometimes the first really pleasant touch a patient is able to experience. It’s energizing, stimulating, and reportedly helps people feel less like patients and more like whole individuals.
I think, at the minimum, that massage can be an extremely comforting and relaxing therapy for cancer patients. I recommend it for ANYONE whether you’re sick or not. I’m a long-time fan and have been going to massage therapists for years. As often happens with alternative health, you may have to try two or three therapists before you find one who’s right for you.
How to “milk” your lymphatics
As I mentioned, a huge benefit to massage is that it moves your lymphatics. Essentially, this means it prompts the flow of the fluid in your body’s arteries and veins that passes through your lymphatic system. Your lymph tissues then trap waste products from this fluid and carry them out of your body.
When you get a massage, it effectively “milks” your lymphatics. By prompting blood flow up to a healthy level and increasing the rate of function, your body eliminates toxins more quickly and effectively. Keep in mind, the lymphatic system is basically another circulatory system within your body, so increasing pressure and flow enhances its function.
Think of your lymphatics as a trash-disposal system for your body. Lymphatic drainage, courtesy of massage, is like emptying the trash — you push it out of your body. You can also get a good dose of lymphatic drainage through exercise. Either way, you’re helping your immune system.

Preventing Cancer is Largely Under Your Control

Chemotherapy and radiation do kill cancer cells, but they also kill healthy cells, damage the immune system, damage the ability of your digestive tract to process nutrients, etc. because they do not target cancer cells Thus, these treatments cannot cure cancer (which has spread) without killing the patient first.

There is also the “cancer diet,” meaning the things a cancer patient should and should not eat.  Some “cancer diets” are so potent they are highly effective cancer treatments by themselves.  Every cancer patient needs to be aware that many foods feed cancer cells and other foods virtually destroy the energy of almost all cells.

In its most simplistic sense; cancer is caused by an imbalance between the strength of the immune system and the number of cancer cells in a person’s body.
